Well I made it here safely. After some problems trying to get the laptop working, we've finally got it going until a power surge sets my computer on fire.
We've got pretty nice living conditions here. The rooms are bigger than Conn dorms, and I finally have a single.
It's still pretty surreal that I finally made it here. Now to collapse into bed.

iknow yousaid not to write everyday so I will try notto. we bought 3 adaptors before we saw they were unnecessary. I must tell you later about the FRYE"S ELECTRONICS store where we found them! the chucky cheese of electronics. decor by alice in wonderland!!!
we are going out to dinner with Donald and Bernadine and a bunch of cousins besides Cary and Helen.I know none of these people.
saw a great museum today the New Getty nearby. there was even a cactus garden. How weird is that.
hope you figure out when to sleep. tell me about the trip from bangalore to mysore. is a train ride worth it? talk soon M.
