Adventures in Mysore

I'm a 20 year old college junior spending a semester abroad in Mysore, in South India. Read this blog and see just how much fun I'm having.

An update about no updates

Due to popular demand, here is an update.

We're back in Mysore, and just like back at home, it's getting close to crunch time. I have 55 pages to write in the next 16 days or so, plus a test in a language that I and everyone else barely has a clue about. As such, I won't have time to be my usual hilarious self in these updates.

Don't worry though. If something new and exciting happens, my loyal readers will be the first to know! For now, just imagine crunch time in the US, but add the fact that all your professors speak with funny accents.

...and what, exactly, do you think your accent, not to mention hair style and affectation for baseball, is like for "them"

Dear jacob; We have received an e-mail from you and enjoyed our telephone conversation with you this morning. Right now it is 3pm here and in india it must around 2am.
This morning with your dad, we went downtown to visit the new Busch baseball stadium. ....and your Dad, at the stadium store, bought a baseball t-shirt which celebrates the cardinals victory in the world series this year. We are looking forward to your return and to get a first hand account of your experiences in india. Good luck. Grandpa (I hope you are impressed that I am making a posting on your BLOG site...with a little assistance!)
